How can we delete the Internet Explorer?

I recently came across my father's old laptop and noticed that it still has Internet Explorer installed. I know IE is outdated and no longer supported on modern devices, so I wanted to remove it from the system. However, I haven’t been able to find a straightforward way to uninstall or delete it. Has anyone dealt with this before or knows how to properly remove Internet Explorer from an older Windows laptop?

Below are the steps to delete Internet Explorer:-

1. Open Control Panel.
2. Go to Programs > Programs and Features.
3. Click Turn Windows features on or off (left panel).
4. Uncheck Internet Explorer 11.
5. Click OK and restart your computer.
