I’ve got RGB LED strips in my PC, and I’m not sure how to control them. Do I need specific software or hardware? Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

@Olivia, To control RGB LED strips on your PC, you need to determine whether your strips are connected via your motherboard or an external controller.

STEP 1: Install the correct software from the motherboard manufacturer’s website.
STEP 2: Launch the software and customize lighting effects, colors, and sync with other components.

Other Options
USB or External Controller RGB Strips
  • If your strip connects via USB or includes its remote.
  • Others may not offer software control; you’ll use a physical remote or a dedicated app.

RGB strips can be controlled via software that is provided by the motherboard or optional applications that coordinate the lighting effects, colors and profiles between compatible hardware.

You can control RGB strips on a PC using motherboard software like ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, or Gigabyte RGB Fusion. Connect the strips to the RGB header, then customize colors, patterns, and effects directly through the software.
