How do I create a Snap?

I’m new to Snapchat and still trying to figure out the basics. How exactly do you create a Snap on the app? Is it just like taking a regular photo or is there a specific process? I’m also curious about adding filters, text, and stickers after capturing it.
Any beginner-friendly steps or tips would really help!

Creating a Snap on Snapchat is pretty straightforward! Open the app, and the camera will appear by default. Tap the circular button at the bottom to take a photo, or hold it to record a video. Once captured, swipe left or right to add filters, tap the T icon to add text, or tap the sticker icon to include emojis and GIFs. You can also draw on your Snap with the pencil tool. When you’re happy, tap the blue arrow to send it to friends or add it to your Story. For beginners, experimenting with filters and stickers is a fun way to get familiar with the app.
