How do I cut and paste on a Chromebook easily?

On a Chromebook, it is very easy to cut and paste:
  • To cut Ctrl + X.
  • To copy: Highlighting and pressing Ctrl + C.
  • To paste: Click to the desired place and press Ctrl + V.
You get the option to right-Click and cut, copy or paste too.
 
Cutting and pasting on a Chromebook is simple. Highlight what you want to move, then press Ctrl + X to cut it and Ctrl + V to paste it where you want.
If you prefer using the touchpad, highlight the text by dragging one finger while holding down another. Then tap with two fingers and select Cut, go to where you want it, tap with two fingers again, and select Paste.
You can also use Search + V to open ChromeOS’s multi‑paste menu, which shows the last few things you copied so you can paste any of them easily.
