Hold on to the message and tap Delete then select Delete for Everyone. It vanishes out of both chats when left unopened, however, there can be screenshots or notifications.
To delete Snapchat messages sent by mistake, press and hold the message, tap Delete, and confirm. The message will be removed from the chat, but the other person may still have seen or saved it.
