Hi everyone, I want to switch my Facebook to dark mode Facebook because it’s easier on the eyes at night. Can anyone guide me through the steps for both mobile and desktop? Thanks in advance for your help!

You can enable Dark Mode on Facebook like this:
  • Mobile app (Android/iOS): Open the Facebook app → tap ☰ (menu) → Settings & privacy → Dark Mode → turn it On.
  • Desktop: Click your profile picture (top right) → Display & Accessibility → Dark Mode → select On.
That’s it.

To customize your viewing experience, many users ask how to enable dark mode Facebook on their account. Open the Facebook app or website, go to Settings & Privacy, tap Dark Mode, and choose On or System Default. This reduces eye strain and saves battery on supported devices.

To activate dark mode Facebook, go to the main menu, open Settings & Privacy, and select Dark Mode. Turning this feature on offers a cleaner interface, better night viewing, and reduced eye strain while scrolling through your feed.

On mobile, open Facebook → tap the menu (☰) → Settings & privacy → Dark mode and turn it on; on desktop, click your profile picture → Display & accessibility → Dark mode. I switched mine a while back, and it really does make late-night scrolling much easier on the eyes
