I keep getting the “ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH” error when trying to visit certain websites. What usually causes this, and what are the steps to resolve it so the site loads securely?

To solve the problem of ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH error in Chrome, clear your browser cache, verify the system date/time, switch off old security measures, and update the Chrome. In case, it is your site, change your server setup and your SQL certificate to allow new versions of TLS and strong cipher suites.

This is a mistake that is typically caused by old settings of an SSL or a problem on the server-side and clearing of cache, disabling of QUIC, activating of TLS or determining the certificate of the site usually enables secure access.
