How do I view a discord time stamp?

Hi everyone, I’m curious about discord time stamp. How can I see the exact date and time a message was sent in a chat? Are there any settings or shortcuts to make timestamps always visible, or do I have to hover over each message every time?

In order to see the Discord timestamp, simply place your cursor over the time displayed next to a message. A small tooltip will appear, showing the precise date and time in full. For mobile users, press and hold the message to reveal the complete timestamp.

On desktop, move the mouse over any message, then the entire date and time would appear. Swip left on chat screen on mobile to see the time of all messages. To have the exact Unix timestamps, you may use t:timestamp:f format.

To view a Discord timestamp, hover over the time next to a message to see the full date and time. On desktop, enable Settings → Appearance → Show timestamps. You can also right-click a message and choose Copy Message Link to reference its time.

When hovering over any message in the desktop, it will display the entire date and time. Mobile On the screen, swipe to the left. To have the exact dynamically changing timestamps in messages, the Unix format is used: <t:TIMESTAMP:F> this format adapts with the local time the user is in.
