If you are using a desktop, follow this

• Log in to your account first
• Click the menu icon (three lines)
• Select "History"
• Click "Manage all History."
• You can now delete individual items in your history. By pressing the (x) sign beside the item.
• To delete all items in a specific date range, click "Delete" and choose from the dropdown menu: "Today," "Custom range," or "All time".

If you are using a mobile, follow this

• Open the YouTube app
• Tap the profile picture in the right corner
• Select "Settings."
• Go to "History" and then "Manage all history".
• You can now delete individual items, same like the desktop version, by pressing the (x) sign, or clear your entire watch history or search history with the option there.
