To deactivate your Snapchat account easily, open the app and go to your profile → Settings (gear icon) → Account Actions → Delete Account. Log in again if asked, then confirm. Your account will be deactivated for 30 days, during which friends can’t contact you. If you log back in within that time, your account will reactivate; after 30 days, it’s permanently deleted.
