How to delete a Snapchat account permanently?

I am sick of social media, and now its time to shutdown Snapchat too.
Fellow humans tell me the quickest way to permanently deactivate my Snapchat account.

To permanently delete your Snapchat account:

1. Go to Snapchat’s account portal on a web browser (not the app).
2. Log in, click "Delete My Account", and follow the steps.
3. Your account will be gone forever after 30 days (if you don’t log back in).
