Hi everyone, I’ve forgotten the password to my Dell laptop and I need to reset it. Can anyone guide me on how to reset a Dell laptop without a password? Is there a way to do it without losing my files?

Yes, you can reset your Dell laptop without a password and without losing your files by using the Windows Recovery Environment:

1. Restart your laptop and press F8 (for older versions) or Shift + Restart (for Windows 10/11) to access the recovery options.
2. Choose "Troubleshoot" > "Reset this PC".
3. Select "Keep my files".
