S shanewarne New member Today at 5:43 AM #2 To change the error sound in Windows 10: Right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select “Sounds.” In the Sound tab, scroll through the Program Events list and click “Critical Stop” (this is the error sound). Under Sounds, choose a new sound from the dropdown or click “Browse” to select a custom .wav file. Click Apply and then OK to save your changes. Your Windows 10 error sound is now updated!
