I’m trying to figure out how to change your home address on Google Maps because my location has changed recently. The app still shows my old address when I search for directions. Can someone guide me step-by-step on updating it properly?

To change your home address on Google Maps, you should start by opening the app and tapping on the menu icon, then select "Your places" and tap on the three vertical dots next to "Home" or "Work". From there, you can edit the address by tapping on the pencil icon and entering your new location, after that just save the changes. Alternatively, you can also do this from the Google Maps website by signing in to your account, going to "Your places" and following similar steps to update your address. Make sure to save the changes so the new address is reflected in the app.

To change your home address on Google Maps, open the app and tap Saved at the bottom. Select Labeled, then find Home. Tap the three dots or “Edit home” option, enter your new address, and save it. You can also search for a location, tap Label, and set it as Home. This updates directions, commute info, and suggestions based on your new address.

Just open Maps, tap Saved at the bottom, go to Labeled, find Home, hit the three dots and edit it, then save. Takes like 30 seconds once you know where to look.

I was able to successfully update my home address on Google Maps by following the instructions in this thread, specifically the steps involving the Google My Account settings and verifying my identity through a postcard or by uploading a photo of an ID. However, I had to wait a few days for the changes to take effect on Google Maps, so be patient if you're experiencing delays.
