How to connect AirPod Max to any device?

I have just purchased an AirPods Max and wasn't able to figure out how to connect them. Can someone suggest me the step-by-step instructions?

to pair your AirPods max, first, make sure that your device is set to Bluetooth and turned on. Keep pressing and holding noise control button on the headphones until the LED goes white.
