How to connect AirPods to Xbox?

Can someone explain how to connect AirPods to Xbox Series consoles? I’m not sure if how to connect AirPods to Xbox requires a Bluetooth adapter. Please guide me clearly on how to connect AirPods to Xbox.

You can’t just pair them like a phone since Xbox doesn't have native Bluetooth audio. Your best bet is the Xbox app workaround connect your AirPods to your phone, then use "Remote Play" in the app. It streams the game audio to your phone and into your ears.
