How to convert .xls file to .vcf — step by step

XLS to VCF conversion is a straightforward process. The only step that takes attention is field mapping. Get that right and the rest is automatic.

Before running the conversion, check your Excel file:​

• Row 1 should have column headers (First Name, Last Name, Phone, Email, etc.)
• Remove blank rows from the middle of your contact list
• Standardize phone number format across all rows
