How to delete Microsoft account on a laptop or pc?

In order to delete your Microsoft account off your computer:

Go to Settings Open Accounts Email and accounts.

In the Accounts used by other apps, choose the Microsoft account that you want to delete.

Double click Delete option.

In order to destroy your Microsoft account forever:

Visit account.microsoft.com.

Sign in → Under security, go to close your account.

Close your account permanently following the instructions on the screen (Microsoft allows you 60 days to save your account in case of necessity).

To delete a Microsoft account from your PC, go to Settings > Accounts > Family & other users. Select the account you want to remove and click “Remove.” If you want to permanently close the Microsoft account, visit the Microsoft website, sign in, and follow the steps for account closure.
