How to delete the Facebook id?

Hi everyone, I want to know how to delete the facebook id permanently. I’m using Facebook and can’t find the exact delete option in settings. Can someone explain the step-by-step process to delete the facebook id completely from mobile or desktop?

To delete your Facebook ID, open Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Accounts Center → Personal details → Account ownership and control → Deactivation or deletion → Select account → Delete account → Confirm and enter password.

Hey, I deleted mine last year , just go to Settings & Privacy > Settings > Accounts Center > Personal Details > Account Ownership and Control > Deactivation or Deletion, choose delete and confirm; same steps work on mobile and desktop in Facebook.
