Instagram doesn’t allow you to deactivate your account more than once a week. You can only temporarily deactivate it once every 7 days.
To deactivate your account:
Go to Instagram in a web browser.
Log in, go to your profile, and tap “Edit Profile.”
Scroll down and tap “Temporarily deactivate my account.”
Choose a reason and confirm. You can do this only once a week.
