How to do a complete internet repair?

I am home alone for almost a week now and my internet connection is making noises that I could not understand. How am I able to do a computer internet repair on my very own?

1. Restart Your Devices
2. Run Built-in Troubleshooters

On Windows:

• Go to Settings → Network & Internet → Status → Network Troubleshooter.

On macOS:

• Go to System Settings → Network → Assist Me → Diagnostics.

3. Reset Network Settings

Windows:

• Open Command Prompt as Administrator and run:
• netsh winsock reset
• netsh int ip reset
• ipconfig /release
• ipconfig /renew
• ipconfig /flushdns

Then restart your PC.

macOS:

• Go to System Settings → Network → Remove your current Wi-Fi connection, re-add it, and reboot.

4. Update Network Drivers (Windows)
Open Device Manager → Network adapters → Right-click your adapter → Update driver.

5. Check Physical Connections
Ensure Ethernet cables are plugged in properly and that the router’s lights are on and stable.

6. Perform a Full Network Reset

Internet connection- To fix your internet, restart your modem and router, review cables, and make sure that your device is connected to the correct network. In your computer, the built-in Network Troubleshooter (Windows: Settings -> Network & Internet -> Status -> Network troubleshooter; Mac: System Preferences -> Network -> Assist me) should be run. In case of problems, restart network drivers or network settings.
