How to download YouTube video to iPhone?

To download a YouTube video to an iPhone, use a YouTube downloader app or a third-party tool like Documents by Readdle with a browser. Copy the video URL, paste it into the downloader, and save it to your phone’s storage. Always respect copyright rules when downloading videos.

Does anyone know a legit way to download YouTube video to iPhone? I travel a lot and want to watch videos offline without buffering. Most apps I tried got removed from the App Store.

Yeah, Apple makes it tricky. The easiest official way is YouTube Premium. You don’t really “download” to your gallery, but videos are saved offline inside the YouTube app. It’s safe and legal, just paid.

If you don’t want to pay, you can still download YouTube video to iPhone using third-party tools, but you have to be careful. I usually use an online downloader on Safari, then save the file to Files app and move it to Photos.

Same here. I use Safari + a web downloader, then save it to “Files → On My iPhone.” After that, I open it in Photos or VLC. It’s a few extra steps, but it works when you want to download YouTube video to iPhone without subscriptions.
