Hey! I want to drop a pin on Google Maps. Can anybody experienced tell me how to do it?

• Open Google Maps on your phone or desktop.
• Tap or click on the location where you want to drop the pin.
• A red pin will appear, and a location info box will show at the bottom (mobile) or bottom-left (desktop).
• You can save, share, or get directions from this pinned spot.

On phone: Open Google Maps → tap & hold on the spot → red pin drops → swipe up for details/share/save.
On PC: Click any spot on the map → pin drops → info card shows at bottom.

It is not that difficult to drop a pin on Google Maps! All you have to do is open Google Maps, press long on where you want to mark something and a pin will appear. At that point you can save it, share it or obtain directions.
