Has anyone faced Discord error 2015 before? I keep getting this issue and can’t log in properly. Does anyone know what causes it or how to fix it?

Discord Error 2015 usually appears when connection data or cached files get corrupted. Try fully closing Discord, then clearing its cache from %appdata%/Discord. Restart your router, disable VPN or proxy, and sync your system time. If the issue continues, flush DNS and reinstall the latest Discord client.

Discord error 2015 usually happens due to corrupted cache or outdated app files. A quick fix is to clear Discord’s cache and restart the app. If that doesn’t work, try reinstalling Discord or updating it to the latest version. Sometimes, checking your internet connection or disabling any VPN can also help resolve the issue.

The 2015 error in Discord typically appears when something goes wrong with the cache or the corrupted file or network limitation inhibits the software. The initial step is to clear the cache in Discord close the application entirely and remove the cache folder which is found under:
Windows: AppData > Roaming > discord > Cache

After that, restart Discord.

In case of that, you can also try to reinstall Discord but ensure that you uninstall all previous files before doing so. Check your antivirus or firewall settings, as well, since occasionally the security software blocks the connection with Discord. Finally, make sure your internet is not the problem or VPN/ proxy settings are not the problem, switching it off will usually fix the problem.

I ran into Discord error 2015 last week and it drove me crazy. For me, it was caused by a bad network route. I fixed it by switching from WiFi to mobile hotspot just to log in once. After that, Discord worked fine again. Try restarting your router too it surprisingly works most of the time.

Brooo I swear Discord errors are like Pokémon—new ones appear every week. 😂
Anyway, error 2015 usually pops up when your account gets flagged or when Discord blocks some region-based requests. I emailed support and they unblocked my account in like 12 hours. So yeah, if nothing works, contact them.

I don’t think it’s a network issue at all. I had perfect internet and still got this stupid error. What actually fixed it for me was clearing Discord’s cache. If you’re on Windows, go to %AppData%/Discord and delete the Cache + GPUCache folders. Restart the app and boom it worked.

Everyone keeps saying “clear cache” but that did nothing for me. 😑
What DID help was disabling my VPN. Apparently Discord didn’t like the server I was connected to. Turned it off, reopened the app, and the error just disappeared.

Lmao I thought I broke my PC when I saw that error. Turns out it was just a temporary Discord outage. If you check their status page when it happens, sometimes the whole region is having issues. So don’t panic half the time it’s just Discord being Discord.

The common implications of the error 2015 on discord are that the application can no longer communicate with its servers effectively or process a command in response to network errors, damaged data, or forbidden/ invalid requests.

To fix it: clear the Discord data/ cache, re-download the app, ensure that you are not connected to a VPN or wait until the server fixes the problem unless it is provided Discord has issued.
