My PS5 keeps showing a DNS error when trying to connect to the internet. I’ve tried restarting the console and router, but it’s still not working. Any solutions that actually fix PS5 DNS error?

To fix a PS5 DNS error, restart your router and console first, then go to PS5 Settings > Network > Set Up Internet Connection > Advanced Settings and manually set DNS to something reliable like 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (Google DNS), or try switching to a wired connection, and if the issue still persists, reboot your modem or contact your ISP to check for any network issues.

Troubleshoot PS5 DNS bugs with restarts, manual DNS (8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 or 1.1.1.1), wired connection, IPv6 off, firmware update, PS5 database rebuilding.

Restart your PS5 and router, switch to manual DNS (like 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4), check your Wi-Fi or LAN connection, and ensure your ISP isn’t having issues. This usually resolves PS5 DNS errors.
