How to fix the 657RX Outlook error?

I’m getting the 657RX Outlook error while sending or syncing emails. It sometimes freezes or fails to connect to the server. I’ve restarted Outlook and checked my account settings, but no success. Does anyone know the cause or a reliable fix?
 
Fix 657RX Outlook error by removing saved credentials in Windows Credential Manager, disconnecting and reconnecting your account, updating Windows and Office, then restarting your computer to refresh authentication settings.

In order to resolve the 657RX Outlook error, it is suggested to remove your account credentials from the Windows Credential Manager, disconnect and reconnect your account through Windows settings, and finally restart Outlook.
