How to freeze location on Find My iPhone?

Hi everyone, I’m trying to figure out how to freeze location on Find My iPhone. Is there a way to lock my iPhone’s location so it doesn’t update? I heard about Lost Mode, but I’m not sure how it works. Can someone explain?

You can’t truly “freeze” location on Find My, but you can stop sharing it. Go to Settings, tap your name, open Find My, then turn off Share My Location. You can also disable Location Services in Privacy settings or enable Airplane Mode. These actions stop your iPhone from updating its live location.
