I could not find a request option on Instagram to join my friend on IG's live?

If you want to add another person, like a co-host or guest speaker, to your Instagram Live broadcast, tap the two-person icon in the bottom right corner of the screen. Find the person you want to add to your live stream by typing their name or handle.

To go live on Instagram with someone, follow these simple steps:

• Go Live – Open Instagram, swipe right, select Live, and tap Go Live.
• Invite Guest – Tap the two-face icon and choose a friend.
• Accept & Join – They accept, and both videos appear.
• End Live – Tap ‘X’ to remove the guest or stop the live session.
