How to hide my Facebook profile from search results?

A procedure exists for making your Facebook profile invisible to searches and you can access it through the following steps:

1. Open Settings through the down arrow at the top right corner.
2. You will find Privacy under the left column arrangements.
3. In How People Find and Contact You, select the option that lets you decide who can use your provided email or phone number for lookup. to Friends or Only Me.
4. Select No from the drop-down menu to disable external search engines linking to your Facebook profile.

Protecting your profile information becomes possible by making this change.
 
Go to Settings & Privacy > Settings > Privacy, then adjust:
  • Who can look you up? → Set to "Only Me"
  • Search engine links to profile? → Turn Off
This hides your profile from search results.
 
  1. Limit Search Visibility:
    • Go to Settings & PrivacySettingsPrivacy"Who can look you up using the email/phone number you provided?" → Set to "Friends" or "Only Me".
  2. Make Profile Private:
    • Under Privacy Settings, adjust "Who can see your future posts?" to "Friends" (limits public info).
