Installing a TPMS sensor isn’t just plug-and-play; you usually have to remove the tire, mount the sensor on the valve stem inside the wheel, then re-seat and balance the tire, which needs proper tools; after that, the car often requires a relearn/reset process (either via a scan tool or a specific drive procedure). If you’ve never done tire work, it’s honestly easier and safer to get it done at a tire shop. I tried doing it once without the right setup, and it quickly became a hassle.
