How to log out of facebook messenger

Does anyone know how to log out of facebook messenger? Please share!
On Android:
  • Open Settings > Apps > Messenger > Storage > Clear Data.
  • Or, open the Facebook app > tap the profile icon > Settings & Privacy > Settings > Security and login > Where you’re logged in > Log out from Messenger session.

On iPhone:
  • Open Facebook app > tap profile icon > Settings & Privacy > Settings > Security and login > Where you’re logged in > Log out from Messenger session.
 
To log out of Facebook Messenger, navigate to your profile settings within the app, then locate and select the "Log out" option. If you're looking to log out of all devices, you'll need to go through Facebook's settings and manage your active sessions.
 
To log out of Facebook Messenger, open the app, tap your profile picture in the top-left corner, scroll down, and select Log Out. If you're on a mobile device, logging out of the main Facebook app will log you out of Messenger as well.
 
Here are the steps to log out of Facebook Messenger:

On Android:
  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Go to Apps or App Manager.
  3. Find and tap Messenger.
  4. Tap Storage, then tap Clear Data or Clear Storage.
  5. This will log you out of Messenger.
On iPhone:
  1. Open the Facebook app.
  2. Tap the three lines (menu), then Settings & Privacy > Settings.
  3. Scroll to Security and Login.
  4. Find the device under Where you're logged in.
  5. Tap the three dots next to it and select Log Out.
Messenger does not have a direct log-out button, so these steps are workarounds.
 
To log out of Facebook Messenger, open the Facebook app (not Messenger), go to the menu, then tap Settings & Privacy > Settings > Security and Login. Under Where You're Logged In, find the device with Messenger active, tap the three dots next to it, and select Log Out. This will log you out of Messenger on that device.


 
To log out of Facebook Messenger, go to your phone’s Settings, open Apps, select Messenger, then tap “Storage” and choose “Clear Data” or “Clear Storage.” This logs you out. Messenger doesn't have a direct logout option.
