I frequently use the Device Manager to resolve network or hardware issues. To avoid repeatedly going through the entire process, I learned how to create a shortcut for it.
In the below space, I have mentioned my learning to help you in creating the device manager shortcut in Windows 10. Adhere to the pointers carefully.
Create the Shortcut on Desktop:
Right-click on the empty home screen.
Click on New.
Navigate to Shortcut.
Enter, “devmgmt.msc” in the dialogue box.
Click on Next.
Name the shortcut “Device Manager”.
At the end, click on Finish to end the process successfully.
Pin the Shortcut to the Taskbar: Open the shortcut, and drag it to the taskbar for one-click access. You can also right-click on it, and select the Pin to Start option.
Keyboard Shortcut: You can also open the Device Manager directly by using the keyboard shortcut Windows Key+ X, and then M.
Thus, above are some effective ways, I have started using to open the Device Manager in seconds.
