How to make concrete in Minecraft?

I’m confused about how to make concrete in minecraft. What exact materials do I need and what’s the crafting process? Also, does color affect the recipe?

Concrete in Minecraft is super easy, bro. You only need 4 sand + 4 gravel + 1 dye of any color. Mix them in the crafting table (pattern doesn’t matter), and you’ll get concrete powder. Then place that powder and touch it with water (bucket, flowing water, or river). It instantly becomes real concrete. Color doesn’t change the recipe only the dye decides the color.

Lol I also thought concrete would need some furnace magic or something, but nope. Just sand + gravel + dye → powder → get it wet. Literally just “make powder and throw water on it.” Minecraft devs really made it a shower project. 😂

You don’t need water buckets bro, just place the concrete powder in water directly. Buckets are optional. People keep saying “use bucket” but flowing water works automatically.

@jameswill8520 Bruh he literally said “touch with water.” Nobody said you NEED a bucket. Read the message before getting triggered. 😭 Anyway OP, any water flowing or placed will do. You don’t need to overthink it.

One tip: if you’re making a LOT of concrete, build a 2-block tall water chamber and just hold right-click with concrete powder stacks. It converts super fast. I do this when making big builds. And yes, the color only comes from the dye you choose. Everything else stays the same.
