How to make public profile on Snapchat under 18?

If you’re under 18, Snapchat doesn’t let you make a public profile. Right now, only users 18 or older can create one.

But you can still share stories with friends or make a private story to choose who sees it. Once you turn 18, the option to make a public profile will show up in your settings.

Snapchat doesn't allow full Public Profiles for users under 18 — but if you're 16 or 17, you can set up a public content page with restrictions:
  • Profiles are private by default, but you can opt‑in to a public content page with a bio, cover photo and public Stories or Spotlight posts.

To make a Public Profile on Snapchat, users generally need to be 18 or older. If you're under 18, you won't be able to create one. Snapchat requires users to be at least 13 to create an account and has a separate age requirement of 18 for Public Profiles.
