How to pin a chat in Instagram DMs?

I’m trying to pin a chat in Instagram for quick access. I’ve seen others do it but can’t find the option. Does it work on both Android and iPhone?

To make a chat on the Instagram sticky, you have to visit your DMs to locate the conversation. In android, long press the chat and select Pin. iPhone Swipe right on the chat and choose Pin. The conversation you have been pinning remains on top of your inbox so that you can access it easily.

To pin a chat in Instagram DMs, open the app, go to Direct Messages, swipe right on the conversation you want to pin, and tap the pin icon at the top. Pinned chats stay at the top of your inbox for easy access. You can pin up to three conversations.
