How to remove Microsoft Edge from the computer?

You usually can’t fully remove Microsoft Edge since it’s built into Windows, but you can disable or hide it:
  1. Go to Settings → Apps → Installed apps.
  2. Find Microsoft Edge, click the three dots → Uninstall (if available).
  3. If uninstall isn’t an option, set another browser as default under Settings → Apps → Default apps.
You can also remove Edge from the taskbar and startup so it doesn’t bother you.

To remove Microsoft Edge, go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features, find Microsoft Edge, and select Uninstall (if available).
Note: On some Windows versions, Edge is a system app and can't be fully removed.

To remove Microsoft Edge, go to Settings > Apps > Apps & Features, find Microsoft Edge, click Uninstall. If the uninstall option is disabled, use PowerShell commands or third-party uninstall tools carefully, as Edge is integrated with Windows.
