On Mac, to make a video recording with audio, go to QuickTime Player, click “File” from the menu bar, then “New Screen Recording.” Next to the record button, open the list of microphones and select one, finally click “Record.” Alternatively, with the macOS Screenshot Toolbar (Cmd + Shift + 5), click screenshot options to add sound.
To screen record on a Mac with audio, press Command + Shift + 5 to open the screen recording menu. Click Options, then select your microphone under “Microphone” to record audio. Choose whether to record the full screen or a portion, then hit Record. When you’re done, click the stop icon in the menu bar. Super easy and built right in—no extra apps needed!
