How to Screen Shot a Dell Laptop?

I need to grab a quick image of a specific window for a tutorial I'm writing. Can someone explain how to screen shot a dell laptop using the Snipping Tool or the Print Screen key?

To take a screenshot on a Dell laptop, press PrtScn to capture the entire screen. For only the active window, press Alt + PrtScn. The image copies to the clipboard, which you can paste into Paint or Word. On Windows 10/11, press Windows + Shift + S to open Snip & Sketch for custom screenshots.
