How to stop Discord from opening on startup?

Hi everyone, I’m trying to figure out how to stop Discord from opening on startup. Every time I turn on my PC, Discord launches automatically. Can someone guide me step by step on how to disable it so it only opens when I want? Thanks!

You can turn that off in Discord Settings. Open Discord, go to User Settings > Windows Settings, and toggle off “Open Discord” under System Startup. I had the same issue and this fixed it right away.

To prevent Discord from running when you start up your computer, open Discord, select User Settings (gear icon), then go to Windows Settings. There, uncheck “Open Discord” or “Start Discord when my computer starts.” You can also do this in Task Manager under the Startup tab, so it won’t open when you start up your PC.
