How to tag someone on Facebook?

Honestly, tagging is super easy once you get the hang of it. Just type “@” and start typing their name. Facebook will show a list of friends to choose from. The tricky part is sometimes they don’t appear if your privacy settings or theirs are strict. So check that too.

I disagree with the “just use @” thing. That works sometimes, but I’ve found the fastest way is to start typing in the “Tag Friends” box that appears under your post/photo. Then you can just click from the dropdown. Way more reliable than hoping @ magically works.
