Open your Instagram app to access your profile screen, Navigate to the menu (three lines) to reach "Settings" then "Privacy" and select "Activity Status." From there disable "Show Activity Status" and your online presence will become hidden.
Users can turn off Active Status on Instagram by Going To Profile > Settings And Privacy > Messages And Story Replies > Show Activity Status, then toggle it off.
