How to turn off active status on Instagram?

I want to turn off my active status on Instagram. Can anyone guide me on how to do so on a PC in 2025?

Turn Off Active Status on Instagram:

1. Open Instagram → Go to Profile () → Menu (☰) → Settings.
2. Tap Privacy → Activity Status → Toggle off "Show Activity Status".

Note: Friends won’t see when you’re online, but you won’t see theirs either.
