@Simran Kaur Rakhra, kindly check out the below points to update your Instagram account on Android.

1. Simply go to the Play Store on your Android device.
2. Click on your Google account logo at the top right corner.
3. Tap on "Manage apps and device".
4. Click on See Details below the "Update available".
5. Choose the Instagram application and click on Update.

If it doesn't work on your device, try to restart or update your device to get the latest updates of the application. Hope this helps! .
