How to upload resume in linkedin?

Hi everyone, I’m trying to figure out how to upload resume in linkedin but I can’t find the right option. Should I add it directly to my profile or upload it while applying for jobs? Please guide me on how to upload resume in linkedin properly. Thanks!
 
To add your resume to your LinkedIn profile, open your profile and select "Add profile section", "Featured", "Media" to make it publicly available. If you're job hunting, you can also go to Jobs Application settings and upload your resume there for the convenience of future applications; this second method only shows it to recruiters.
 
You can upload your resume to LinkedIn in two ways. For job applications, go to "Job Seeking Preferences" in Settings and upload it under "Manage Application Settings." Alternatively, to display it on your profile, go to the "Featured" section, click the "+" icon, and select "Media" to upload your file. This makes your professional history easily accessible to recruiters and hiring managers.
 
  • Open LinkedIn and log in to your account.
  • Click on your profile picture and select View Profile if you want to add your resume to your profile section.
  • Tap Add profile sectionFeaturedAdd media, then upload your resume file (PDF recommended).
  • To upload for job applications, go to Jobs, open a listing, and click Easy Apply.
  • Select Upload resume, choose your file from your device, and save.
  • Review the details and submit your application.

  2. Go to the Jobs tab and open a job post.
  3. Click Easy Apply.
  4. Select Upload resume and choose your PDF or DOC file.
  5. Review details and submit your application.
 
  • Open LinkedIn and visit your profile.
  • Click Add profile section.
  • Choose FeaturedAdd media.
  • Upload your resume file.
  • Save changes so recruiters can view it directly from your profile.
 
  • Access LinkedIn on desktop or mobile.
  • Navigate to a job listing.
  • Select Easy Apply.
  • Upload your resume when prompted.
  • Confirm details and complete the job application process.
 
  • Sign in to LinkedIn.
  • Click your profile icon → Settings & Privacy.
  • Go to Data PrivacyJob application settings.
  • Upload and save your resume for future Easy Apply submissions.
