iPhone won’t charge what should I do?

I’m trying to troubleshoot why my iPhone won’t charge. Has anyone dealt with this before? What steps should I try to figure out whether it’s the cable, the port, or a software issue?

If your iPhone won’t charge, start by checking the cable, adapter, and power source. Clean the charging port gently to remove dust or lint. Restart the phone and try a different cable or outlet. If using wireless charging, remove thick cases. Update iOS if possible. If it still won’t charge, contact Apple Support.

In case your iPhone is not charging, the first step is to check the cable and charger, as it may be a faulty cable or even dusty/ dirty port. Final solution is to test another charger and outlet to eliminate hardware issues. In the event that does not, use a soft cloth to wipe the charging port, restart the phone, update iOS, or use a force restart. In case it fails, there is a possibility that the battery or the port hardware will require professional health.

If your iPhone won’t charge, try using a different cable and charger, clean the charging port gently, restart your device, and check for software updates. If it still doesn’t work, contact Apple Support or visit an authorized service center.
