Is Drift Hunters Unblocked different from the original game?

I have recently played drift hunters unblocked in a free gaming platform and it appears to play within the browser, without any installation. But I do not know whether it is the same version as the official one. Does it have progress saves that are stored on the local drive and are they likely to be lost should the browser information be deleted? Besides, do we have any knowledge of whether these versions are updated?
