Yes, it is possible to recover data from a corrupted OST file—the method just depends on how damaged the file is.

1. If the OST file is still connected to your Exchange or Office 365 account, you can use Outlook to resync or recreate the file. This often restores your emails from the mail server.

2. However, if the OST file is severely corrupted or orphaned, Outlook won’t be able to recover the data. In that case, using the BLR OST Recovery tool is the best option. These tools can scan the damaged file and recover emails, attachments, contacts, and other data, then export them to formats like PST.
