Is the Razer BlackWidow Still Reliable for Daily Gaming and Typing?

I have encountered both favorable and unfavorable reviews regarding razer blackwidow keyboard. There are those who talk of it being durable and pleasant to type on, and there are those who have problems with it after using it over a length of time. Have you used the razer blackwidow and what has been your experience thus far?

The software is the real dealbreaker for me. Synapse is a total resource hog and sometimes it just forgets my lighting profiles for no reason. The hardware is solid, but the bloatware makes me want to throw the whole thing out the window some days.
