trump greenland arctic defense command shift

Saw a headline talking about 'Trump Greenland, Arctic defence command shift' and am confused, was the administration really going to alter semi-permanent command or responsibility to Greenland? Looking for just an easy breakdown about what that would mean and is it real or rumor.

This was mostly about shifting some U.S. Arctic defense responsibilities closer to Greenland, not giving Greenland control. It’s more about reorganizing military command to better cover the Arctic region. It’s a real plan but more administrative than dramatic no one’s handing over actual authority to Greenland.
