What are the best character templates for perchance ai roleplay?

I recently discovered perchance ai roleplay and I’m really impressed with how flexible the platform is, especially since it doesn’t require a login. I’ve been trying to build a few custom characters for a fantasy-themed RPG, but I’m struggling to get the AI to maintain a consistent "voice" or remember specific traits like a character's greed or specific vocabulary. Are there any specific plugins or code snippets on the site that help with long-term memory or better "LLaMa" model integration? Also, if anyone has a list of pre-made character generators that are particularly good for deep storytelling, I’d love for you to share the links. I’m trying to move beyond basic chatbots and create something more immersive.

You definitely need to use the Character Reminder Note box. Put stuff like "Never use flowery language" or "Always mentions money and profit" in there. It’s basically a sticky note the AI sees every time it types 💰

If you're using the default Roleplay Style, try switching to Custom in the GWI settings. The built-in styles can be a bit too "poetic" and make every character sound like a Shakespearean actor even if they're a literal goblin 👺

Honestly just edit the first 5-10 messages manually. If the AI says something out of character just double-tap and rewrite it. The model learns from the chat history way faster than it learns from the instructions you write in the back end

Does anyone else find the LLaMa integration hits a wall after like 50 messages? I had a greedy dragon who suddenly became a philanthropist out of nowhere because the memory summary got glitched. Use the summarize command to clean it up!

Actually the best way is to use JSON-style templates for the description. Instead of writing a paragraph use tags like [Personality: Greedy, Calculating] and [Speech: Gruff, Slang]. The AI parses those way more consistently than a wall of text 📊

Check out the NACG (New-Ai-Chat-Gen) templates on the site. They have a "Main Prompt Template" that gives you way more control over the LLaMa settings than the standard interface. Total game changer for RPGs 🐉

I just keep a "World Info" entry for my character's inventory. Every time they get a new item I add it there. Otherwise they'll "forget" they have a legendary sword and try to fight with a stick 5 minutes later lol

Make sure you aren't using negative prompts like "Don't be nice." The AI is bad at "Don't." Instead say "Be extremely rude and selfish." It responds much better to positive reinforcement of traits 🗣️

Is it just me or do the fantasy generators on the front page all sound the same? I usually find a blank "Advanced Template" and copy-paste my own LLaMa instructions from Reddit. Much deeper immersion that way 🌊

Bro just use the brain icon for the long-term memory. It’s literally right there. If it’s off the AI will have the memory of a goldfish. Turn it on and watch your greedy merchant remember every copper you owe him 🪙
